The top cheap vape pen should do several things well. First, it should deliver nicotine to your body efficiently and effectively. Secondly, it should work safely, consistently, and reliably. After testing a bunch of devices for weeks on end, we’ve found a device that does exactly that. Not only does it perform nicely, it’s stylish. So without further ado, let me introduce to you our winner for 2018.
The Best Inexpensive Vape Pen
Right now, the best cheap vaporizer pen is the Eleaf iCare 140. It’s not the best vape pen by any stretch of the imagination, but it will do what you need it to do.
The best part about this device is that it only costs $15. It’s dirt cheap. Generally, you get what you pay for but with this vape pen you get a little bit more than what you pay for. It performs like a $20 device. The biggest downfall of this pen is the airflow. The airflow is really tight and there is no way to adjust it without going to extreme measures. But for $15 I can’t complain too much.
Battery & Tank Capacity
The Eleaf iCare 140 comes with a 650mAh battery and a 2mL tank. The battery is big enough to last for several hours, but it won’t quite last all day. It’s a lot bigger than a 350mAh battery, which some of the cheaper vape pens have. But it doesn’t stack up to the 1,300mAh+ batteries. Overall, the battery is efficient and does a good job for the price range.
The tank is 2mL which is a good size. Some of the vapes in this range have 1mL tanks which are really annoying. You have to refill them way too much. With this vape pen, you can refill it a lot less than a 1mL pen. The tank is made out of pyrex which is really durable. Also, the glass isn’t very exposed so it would be really hard to break this pen. The metal has been machined in a way that allows you to see the glass while still protecting the tank. This is good for beginners and people who consider themselves clumsy.
This vape pens specs are pretty standard for the sub-$20 price range. If you’d be willing to pay $20 or more you’ll be able to get a lot more bang for your buck as far as battery capacity and airflow are concerned. But if you only have $15 and want to get a vape pen today, this is the one I’d recommend. It’s reliable and consistent. It works well and delivers nicotine efficiently. There’s not much more you can ask for in a $15 vape pen.
Given the nature of the vaping industry, there could easily be a better vape released sometime this year or next year. In fact, I can almost guarantee you that there will be a better pen released eventually. Every now and then you get a solid device that tops the charts for years, but it’s not common. If you think there is a better sub-$20 pen out right now, leave a comment and I’ll test the device out. This article will be updated every few months. Take care and vape on!
